Adrián Iaies’s latest release, Sur (as an answer to all questions), marks a pivotal moment in his career — his 30th album, yet unlike any before. Recorded entirely at home on his own piano, and released for the first time on vinyl.
Sur is both an intimate statement and a bold artistic gesture. The album offers a deeply personal journey through classic tangos by masters such as Aníbal Troilo, Juan Carlos Cobián, and Francisco de Caro, reimagined with Iaies’s unmistakable jazz sensibility.
